What is the International League of Pa-Kua?
The International League of Pa-Kua is a school of Oriental Arts
and Sciences, founded by Master Rogelio Magliacano, in 1976.
Pa-Kua is an ancient art that has been passed from generation
to generation through oral teaching. Now, Pa-Kua is taught in
the West, using a belt system of graduation. The Pa-Kua knowledge,
which is based on the eight trigrams, is applied to Martial Arts,
Self Defense, Ancient Weapons, Sintony (Chinese Yoga), Cosmodynamics
(Pa-Kua Tai Chi), Traditional Chinese Medicine, Energy Ways, Reflexology,
Chien Chi Kua, Acrobatics and other disciplines. It is also taught
using Accelerated Programs.

To Whom Do We Offer Courses and Programs?
The Accelerated programs of the Pa-Kua school were developed
for people who work or study, are not normally able to dedicate
free time to other activities, but who have the desire for knowledge
and need for growth and self-knowledge.
Over the past 33 years, we have created an exclusive method of
teaching that enables the League to train instructors and masters
in the different disciplines of the knowledge of Pa-Kua, and previous
experience in the disciplines is not necessary. The students of
Pa-Kua around the world are both men and woman of all ages. It
is never too early or too late to learn and improve the quality
of one s life. These courses are open for ALL who want to learn.

Why take an Accelerated Program?
The Pa-Kua Knowledge has been in existence for over five million
years. Our techniques in Martial Arts, Sintony, Cosmodynamics,
Reflexology and other disciplines were developed more than 3,000
years before Christ, addressing the common needs of mankind since
that time. Civilization did not know how to write, the Bronze
Age was beginning, but people were still looking for ways to maintain
and improve their physical health and achieve self-control.
Life was simpler then. There were no cell phones, Internet,
highways, or air travel, but the people understood that the martial
arts techniques were needed to strengthen body and mind, and used
to train leaders, the techniques of Yoga were for health, self-control
and the expansion of the inner universe, and the techniques of
Tai Chi were for relaxation, breathing and insight.
Today, these same techniques have been adapted to the needs
of modern life. Our Accelerated Programs were created for the
student who cannot join a Tibetan monastery to learn meditation,
or travel to China to learn martial arts. The Masters responsible
for teaching the program have vast experience in teaching the
programs all over the world, are multilingual and are able to
teach techniques that can help the student prepare the mind and
body in order to leave behind the stress, problems and distractions
that can prevent the student from learning.

How does an Accelerated
Program Work?
The Accelerated Programs are organized as private
lessons, tailored to the individual. These may vary according
to the requirements of each program and situation of the student.

What can be learned
in an Accelerated Program?
Almost a century ago, Albert Einstein scientifically
proved the same thing learned from the Pa-Kua Knowledge: Everything
is Relative.
In Chinese, Pa means eight and Kua means Changes
or mutations. The eight levels of changes are the basis of the
Pa-Kua knowledge and the trigram is used to create our teaching
methods.
This concept is very important to understand
in relation to our teachings, where the student' s progress is
measured according to the eight changes within his own evolution,
and not by pre established levels. For example, when a leap is
taught to a student, there is not a pre-determined level that
he needs to reach. The student is taught to gradually increase
his leap, through a progressive way of teaching, until the student
ns able to make the leap within his maximum level.
In an accelerated course, the student will learn
this knowledge about himself at a faster rate than others, but
still be given the tools to continue growing after the program
is complete.
The knowledge is inside us, waiting to be discovered.
The masters of Pa-Kua have the techniques to bring the knowledge
from inside the students to help them flourish.
Master Magliacano explained the teaching this
way: The knowledge is the point.

Are the Accelerated
Courses expensive?
Absolutely not. The option to take an accelerated
program is very affordable when one compares the time spent in
the program, and number of hours per class to the time and cost
of regular evaluations and certificates already included in the
cost, in addition to the individual teachings of the programs
by the most highly qualified Masters in the world.
These courses are not only for those who have
the time and money to study, but also for those who are on the
path of personal growth and development.

Accelerated Programs
and Career Solutions
Teaching is the noblest of professions. There
is no better technique to learn, way to increase knowledge and
explore ones interest, than the dedication to EDUCATION.
It is very common to find that students of all
ages are unhappy with their professions, and who, ultimately,
would like to have a full time career teaching Pa-Kua.
Whether you are only interested in learning,
teaching part time or seeking a profession that is beneficial
to your own well-being, the Pa-Kua school has a way to help you.
The main difference between our accelerated
programs and others is that our instructors can begin teaching
as a way to help pay for their Pa-Kua, secondary employment, or
studies, or as their full time professional career, with the support
and mentoring of the Pa-Kua Masters.

Pa-Kua's Philosophy
on Competitions
Business corporations have tried to change the
techniques of Martial Arts and Yoga from art forms and practices
to business ventures similar to fast food chains, in the form
of competitions.
The International League of Pa-Kua does not
participate in martial or mixed martial art competitions. The
idea of hitting someone for no reason is dangerous and irresponsible;
it is not within our practice to use our form of study for this
type of negative growth.
In our School, we use our techniques against
our own limitations; our trophies are not medals but knowledge,
good health and happiness.
We do not accept sponsorship from outside sources;
this is because our mission is not to generate profit, but to
teach.

International Cultural
Exchange Programs
The International League of Pa-Kua teaches courses
in such a way to allow its students to travel to Pa-Kua schools
in other countries to study and obtain teaching certificates internationally
recognized, which allows them to work as Pa-Kua Masters or Instructors
all over the world.
ur exchange programs also offer the opportunity
to study other languages, experience new cultures, and interact
with new people.
In addition, the League, through its Associations
in the United States and Europe, contributes to the acquisition
of Study Visas, which will allow students to travel legally, in
order to study, with the option to work part-time when abroad.
We are currently have foreign students in the
United States, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Brazil and Argentina,
and soon we will have exchange programs in the United Kingdom.

Pakua Retreats
Everybody needs a moment to unplug from their
daily routine, to make some time to allow a rediscovery of ourselves.
For this reason, the Pa-Kua schools organize meditation retreats,
with the practice of Sintony and Cosmodynamics. The retreats last
for a day, a weekend or longer, and the results are always the
same a total relaxation of body and mind, through several internal
practices that help us get rid of our everyday occupations and
habits.
The retreats are for students and non-students,
located in tranquil and isolated settings close to Nature, in
order to provide the participants with the comfort and peace they
need in order to relax.
